I just adore this. It was hard to like Bikky in the series, but here, in his older age, I can come to appreciate his point of view. I love how fully realised you made his life in just a few short bits and pieces, too. It's too bad more people aren't familiar with the characters, because this piece deserves many people falling all over themselves to tell you how good it is.
