I'm not complaining -- not really -- but it's been a while since I've had to try simultaneously to hold still and duck moving parts at the same time...

In other news, writing is like wrestling with a greased pig, but most of you already knew that.

The doctor and the tech were both fine. It's just the way the machine was configured -- I mean, my chest and my face are pretty much aligned with each other, you know? (It just dawned on me that maybe women with larger endowments don't run into this problem...) So there's my tit in the vise, and I'm having to lean back to dodge the whatever-it-is thingie descending right where my face was a minute ago, and the little beads they tape to one's nipples -- the whole damn process is bizarre, is what.

As for wrassling with greased pigs, it's a common saying here where I live. To be honest, most of my language the past twenty four hours has been considerably ruder -- the assignment is not that hard but my brain keeps stalling out. Yarg.

urgh. Sounds very uncomfortable. Well, at least it's good the doctors were nice.

I like vivid imageries. It's fun, in a tasty way. My love for language in general always kept me from being shocked at rude words ^^ And they definitly help relieving the pressure when there's something frustrating hapening ^^

Weeeell, no, but mammograms present other problems for those of us who are what I like to think of as luxury-sized. For one thing, they frequently have to be retaken because tissue density can sometimes look like something else. I had a baseline done at 37 that had to be taken over 4 times because, to be blunt, I got a lotta boob to squish in the vise. I'm overdue now for one, but I can't face it again just yet.
