Oh my goodness, that bit of Rowling is bad! Leaving aside the issue of "It is I, Remus John Lupin" reminding me of the catchphrase "It is I, Leclerc", in 'Allo 'Allo, I guarantee that anyone who ever did say "bade me come" did not follow it with the modern "in an emergency", but "in time of dire need".
