(It just takes me forever to sit down properly with presents, especially if I suspect or know that they will yank hard at my heartstrings -- hello, Monteverdi -- or if I suspect I'll get sucked deep into a new series and/or fandom I don't quite have emotional or recreational space to accommodate just yet, which is why Discovery of Witches remains in the TBR pile.
