You didn't miss it! You sent a beautiful card back in May that I had on my windowsill for months! (It just takes me forever to sit down properly with presents, especially if I suspect or know that they will yank hard at my heartstrings -- hello, Monteverdi -- or if I suspect I'll get sucked deep into a new series and/or fandom I don't quite have emotional or recreational space to accommodate just yet, which is why Discovery of Witches remains in the TBR pile. (She says, having come up with yet another spiky vignette for Fen/Pat/Archie/Daniel last night that she then has been brooding over while harvesting tomatoes and sterilizing jars, even though there are hundreds of endnotes to fix and LaTeX to learn by the middle of this week...))
