Yep, it's Snupin Santa season chez Maison Ribbons. Every year something like this happens:

Me, to the plotbunny: So, lessee, I think I'll have you start here, and hop over to that spot I've marked Point A, and the idea will be for you to end up somewhere in the vicinity of Point D. Point B, though -- haven't quite got a grip on that yet. Mind the chickenwire at Point C.

Plotbunny: *wriggles tip of left ear toward point between Point B and Point C with a hint of suggestiveness*

Me: Oh? Hm, yeah, that might be fun. And I could *scribble, scribble* and have Snape say *scribble scribble* and then--

Plotbunny: *suddenly nails a spectacular vault over the chickenwire*

Me: Oh, saints, how I am supposed to fit that in?

Plotbunny: *thumps emphatically in place*

Me: *hurriedly typing interlibrary loan request* I am not a wuss, but you are a pain in the ass. You're lucky you're also cute.
