(no subject)

I haven't yet gotten around to getting me a red winter dress, but I am wrapped in the red and black shawl qrssama and mrgeddylee gave me some years ago, and I baked a lemon-ginger-currant-rum-and-walnut pound cake earlier tonight.

It's not too heavy a dessert, and the combination of simmering lemon juice and rum -- I might try that by itself, some other evening. It doesn't cure dullness and tiredness, but it is a lovely smell nonetheless. And the shawl is warm.
