I remember the laughter during the handful of lectures I attended, although I don't remember a word of them (I am not a philosopher, and Kant in particular makes my teeth hurt). I remember him alternating between a tricorn hat and a bowler (or was it a beret?) during the one latke-hamentaschen debate I attended. And I remember, during my fifteen-year reunion, when I peeled away from the grand processional to sneak into Harper, he happened on me tugging at a locked door and took out his keys. :-)
