Flutterings

Ooh, I read Vassalord and really liked it! It is indeed cracky and dangerous and cool. The relationship between the vampire and the cyborg is kind of sick and twisted in a mostly-humorous and partly-angsty sort of way, and there are hints of genuine caring between them, too. And tons of slashy subtext!

I was lucky enough to find a copy of volume 1 at the local library, and I don't really have space at home for more manga, so I was hoping they would continue it. But if they don't get volume 2 soon, I may just break down and start buying it. I really like the manga-ka's other series, Peacemaker, too.
