I am eating a sugar cookie shaped like a car, with yellow frosting and black m&m hubcaps (the BYM brought it home from a Lane Motor Museum member-appreciation thingie).

Meeting joannemerriam for coffee, although it's going to be her fault if I end up hearing zombies scrabbling at my front door in the middle of the night.

The dream I had last night about an old crush. The crush didn't have a happy ending, and the dream didn't supply one, but I woke up with some half-answers that might add up to a new story or poem.

The conversation reported chez matociquala (darthrabe's "how Obi-Won ever found the patience not to Force bitchslap some backbone into the kid, I'll NEVER know!" had me spitting my tea halfway across the room)

Three poems rejected, two poems revised, one submission given-up-on, and twenty-eight lines of a new poem drafted.

Falling in love again with Alexander Montgomerie's "What Mightie Motion," and singing along to it all the way home from the library.

I think there was karma in dreamland - I spent most of my dream conducting a treasure hunt in what was clearly my ex's apartment. The forces seem to do that at times :)
