I should get a new pastry brush -- any recommendations?

(I finally chucked my old one after it shed bristles all over the lemon squares I'm about to take to a potluck. . .)

...one of those new rubber ones. On the plus side, it won't shed bristles because it doesn't have them to shed. On the negative side, I find it harder to use than a normal bristle-y type one. It doesn't paint glazes as easily. Good for things like BBQ sauce, though. I ended up getting a regular one for any fine work anyway. But you might want to give one a go.
