What this evening's spell of Project Avoidance fetched up:
Allison Crowe's rendition of Cohen's "Hallelujah" (currently downloadable at Amazon, album yclept Tidings). And also a killer piano solo in a full-out swing-and-swaggering "O Holy Night." Joanne's latest poem in Strange Horizons, "Settler's Song." Read it! It's inventive and passionate and I'll be tempted to riff on "sol juleps" once I get over not having coming up with them myself.
redbird's revelation in this
metaquotes thread:
As far as I can tell, the bisexual agenda says something like "8:30 Physical therapy. 11:00 Get to work, late, and try to get everything done. 6:00 Weekly meeting for production of monthly amateur publications promoting someone else's agenda. 9:00 Dinner. 10:30 Realize you meant to wash out some bras. 11:00 Feed cat, brush teeth, fall over."
Somehow, this is not succeeding in overthrowing the Establishment. Maybe if I got a purple case for my PDA.
