24/11/05 00:40Joanne, the pumpkin bread recipe I used last night is here. I like my breads spicier and nuttier than most, so I used heaping half-teaspoonfuls of ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cardamom, and a large handful of walnuts.
Beautiful, warm night. (It's cold enough in the house that I had to put on an extra vest, but it was sixty degrees outside -- I didn't need a jacket.) I stepped out on the deck while the dog was running about, and the sky was full of stars.
(Then a sticky black speck dropped into my left eye and I had to spend five minutes flushing it out. Romance colliding with reality -- story of my life.)
