I'd meant to be at the office two hours ago (*), but I've literally been waiting for ink to dry. I'm glad I don't depend on lettering certificates for my living, but there are times when I like the fact that it's a way for me to leave a bit of an imprint on the future: these particular certificates are for my church's "child dedication" ritual (similar to the ceremony described here), where each baby is anointed with a rose dipped in water and the words (QFM) "may your lips speak the truth, your hands do good work, your eyes witness for justice, and your heart always know love," and the congregation promises its support to the child and its parents.
