Too true. I like it best when it's battered and fried, which is, of course, how one persuades the reluctant to consume okra outside of gumbo.

Thanks for the recipe! To be honest, it sounds like more work than my usual routine (chop garlic, chop eggplant, dump oyster sauce over the lot), so I can't swear I'll try it anytime soon, but who knows, I may want a change at some point...
