roasted red pepper tarts (with mozzarella and fennel)




chevre-stuffed grapes


stuffed mushrooms (goat cheese and fennel)


daikon radish pickles (yes, from one of the beasts I brought home earlier this month)

Mains:
boeuf bourguignon
fennel braised in cream
snow peas sauteed with oyster sauce
a demi-baguette from Bella

Dessert (brought by the guest of honor):
apple strudel with ice cream

Wow, that all looks amazing. I don't have the patience to stuff grapes so I'm in awe.

I had neither patience nor time for the recipe as written (which involved cheesecloth and ground pistachios and other mayhem), but my simplified version was good enough -- that nosh was the favorite among the guests.
