In Vino Veritas (Snape/Lupin, R, 7617 words)
Author's summary: "The Dark Lord is gone, and it's time to celebrate. Only Severus doesn't know when to stop, and says more than he intended..."
Ribbons's reaction: BWAH! A very entertaining smashed!Snape. I may be somewhat biased since I'm keen on Tonks/Ginny and Harry/Draco as secondary pairings, not to mention Severus-Minerva friendship and snark about flying!Snape, all of which this fic offers. Also, the rude humor and the characterization of Lupin remind me a bit of thetreacletart's work.
Rise from the Ashes (Teddy/Cedric, NC-17, longish but so worth it)
Author's summary: 'Muggles have an old saying: "Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it." Teddy never quite grasped the meaning, until he made a wish of his own.'
Ribbons's reaction: I can see why recs for this have been appearing all week - this fic is stunning. Intricate plot, deft characterizations, pitch-perfect dialogue. I read it just this morning and have gone back already to revisit my favorite moments in it, which I won't describe because I don't want to spoil you for them (aside from which, your favorite moments may well be different - it's such a richly imagined, brilliantly crafted story). There's some fervent clamoring for a sequel among some of the other commenters, but I personally find it perfect where it ends.
