my, how times change
30/5/05 19:43While hunting down a friend's address, I came across my program (a 3" x 4" metallic maroon booklet with gold embossing (the junior class colors)) from the 1983 Model High Junior-Senior Prom. The theme was "Expressions of the Orient" and I was a server. I suspect the program was a rush job, as I count at least three misspelled names in the lists of class officers and prom queen candidates, but what cracks me up is the menu:
The Samauri [sic]
(Chicken Breasts Supreme w/Mushroom Sauce)
Tea House Tempter
(Buttered Broccoli)
Mount Fuji's Peak
(Creamy Whipped Potatoes)
Cherry Blossom Special
(Fresh Fruit Cup w/ Green Ice)
Bonsai Garden Greens
(Tossed Salad & Tomato Wedge)
Sayonara
(Chess Pie)
