Note to self: Next time you buy fish at a non-supermarket, check to make sure it's been cleaned and gutted, ok?
(Had planned on roasting smelts for lunch, but I have neither the time nor fortitude to cope with fish innards this morning. Bad enough I nearly took off my right forefinger chopping off the first smelt-head...)
For the Sayersphiles -- new fic up at
placet. Bunter meets eight-year-old Molly Weasley (nee Prewett) while on holiday. It will likely be revised and expanded later, but "later" is at least three months away, what with Hanukwansticemas bearing down...
