I'd hoped to feel better and get more done, but it was still a good holiday weekend overall. Thursday was with the clan; Friday night's dinner was at a truck stop (a friend with truck was on a run that took him past our part of the valley).
Sunday, I drove over to Cookeville and delivered some semblance of this sermon. (I was revising it on the fly and hadn't fully scripted the last section, so what's on the page is a combination of reading copy and smoother-than-spoken recollection of what I ended up saying. I'm still aiming for truly articulate and tied-together one of these days, but yesterday's effort seemed to pass muster, at least judging from the post-service feedback.)
The hydra is almost ready to turn in. My betas, they are goddesses.

5/12/05 04:18 (UTC)I live in Arizona, but my mother is the interim minister at the Unity Church of the Cumberlands in Cookeville. Last time we talked on the phone, she was asking me about the phenomenon of folks posting wishlists to their journals and basically throwing their requests open to the universe, and asked me to get her a copy of the LJ christmas wishlist meme that goes around everywhere. So, I google for the 'lj wishlist meme' and the first hit I got? Was your meme post!
The universe is so much smaller than we think!

Hm... I keep accumulating small internet stories (I've a beaut of one that I'd tell but I've to go shower and make myself presentable for school). I do wonder if the universe is trying to tell me something!
