It was windy here, too, not quite as windy as it was your way, apparently, but gusts up to 50. Beautifully warm, I think a high of over 75 (didn't check official numbers).
Speaking of tournaments, apparently UT is OUT. UM (UMich) is also out, and UMd is playing at 9:30. Which is why I have one sleeping child home, and a husband and DS at the in-laws watching the big screen TV. Time to apply the get a little done on several projects theory! Or even finish ONE thing!
It was definitely one of the stronger winds we've had this year, as it even knocked our trellis over. (No harm done, but still, that took some doing.)
Hope you had a good night! I've a box to wrap for a nephew (lordie, how fast they grow), and a Powerpoint thingie to quick-edit, and then I'll be ready to turn in... and then back up for a 7:30 a.m. meeting. *sigh*
Either your time zone is set wrong, or you got less than 3 hours sleep? My time zone is apparently set wrong, it says it was almost 9 and it was almost midnight. Even I usually get more than that. I think I went to sleep between one and two, after helping to settle the kids, doing a few dishes, exchanging reports on the concerts, putting out the dog, ... you know, those few things that you try to get done before going to sleep.
Unfortunately, I wasn't done until 4:30 a.m. (Didn't wrap the nephew's present, either -- realized I didn't have an appropriate card in the house and decided it was just going to have to wait.) However, I'd had a five hour nap in the afternoon (having stayed up all night the night before), so I'm not as glazed or fretful as I'd usually be on that little. I usually swing between 4 - 8, but every now and then there's a stretch of manic insomnia that I just have to ride out.
That said, I'll take it over the failing-college nightmares I still have all too frequently. At least with the insomnia I get stuff done. (At least, when I'm not fighting with HP scanner settings. Least. Cooperative. Software. EVER. Grrr!)
