Ah, YouTube, you siren!

Neil Patrick Harris and Jason Segel singing part of "The Confrontation" scene from Les Miserable while on a talk show. What makes this awesome is that even though it's performed as a joke, the two guys are so into it it is intense. *swoon*

Okay, I LOVE that part of Les Mis. I used to be able to sing most of both men's parts without bottoming out too badly.

And that first link? The funniest part for me is when Megan Mullally *snorts* while she's laughing.

Every now and then I fantasize about writing a Snape-Lupin angstfic based on "And this I swear to you tonight..." (although what I really hope is to con seduce inspire someone else into writing it for me... *eg*)

You know, I'd never understood why so many people on the internet were obsessed with the Miserable. It seemed such a random thing to be obsessed about. Silly me, I should have checked out the music *headpalm*

*is inordinately amused by this*

The scary thing is, "I Dreamed A Dream" was so popular when the musical premiered that tons of people were covering it -- I'm pretty sure I heard a Miss America contestant perform it, and Neil Diamond did a version as well...

OK, I'm a big geek, and I watch that LES MIS clip starring Doogie every time I log on to your site now.

And Mike was in a play with Doogie when he was a little boy in Albequerque. PETER PAN -- Doogie was John and Mike was a pirate. :)

Pssst! go here. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zveWVMZt8Ao&mode=related&search=) It gave me bigass goosebumps. The guy from England who sings Javert's line is incredible.

Thank you, thank you! My sister is the only person who can sing the confrontation with me and she is the other side of the UK.

This seemed a suitable moment to delurk. I wander over here every so often since finding you via [livejournal.com profile] swooop. I know you both from a certain mailing list several years ago and I still remember with gratitude the card you once sent me on the basis of my having worn red Doctor Marten's boots at my wedding. Glad to have found you again. May I friend you even if I don't do Harry Potter? :-)
