...nearly all the authors who have written about him have referred to Muhummad by the wrong name: Muhammad Ed-Dhib or something similar. Dr. John C. Trevor, who knew Muhummad and provided the photo of him for this book, told me in 1986 that "Edh-Dhib" is actually a nickname. It means "the Wolf" in Arabic and was given to Muhummad at the time of his birth because his father was said to be "fierce as a wolf."
