It won't sell you on the game if you're not already a follower, but Untitled!Remus's words to Narcissa in this thread damn near made me cry. And the players for Bill and Draco are brilliant as ever.
I've had to drop out of
midsummerfest. No more fests or exchanges for me (excepting some drabbles hither and reading-aloud thither) until after Lumos (which should also correspond with the end of several RL-obligations currently slamming me sideways and driving me to drink).
That said, I'm downright giddy that
florahart claimed my fantasy (Personal Attention and False Start are two of my favorites of favorites, and she's one of the writers I'll read anything by -- regardless of pairing -- just to see what she comes up with).
Also, I really do have the most uncooperative brain in Nimue's realm, which is to say it's going to hare after whatever it wants to write regardless of my resolve to shoo away the plot bunnies. For instance, Preserved: I'd sat down thinking I'd do 300 words in 30 minutes and call it done. Gah!
And then there's catching myself constructing bad jokes after posting a comment-spliff over at Rex's. For instance:
I know, I know: my desire to stave off studying the forms of doom clearly knows no bounds.

Knock, knock!
Who's there?
Sirius!
Sirius who?
I see Re'us, but where's 'alfoy?
I know, I know: my desire to stave off studying the forms of doom clearly knows no bounds.
