Still doing battle with RL projects, but this snuck up on me...
Title: On Reading Homer
Challenge: wine-dark sea (at
30_hath)
Character/Pairing: Lupin/Snape (established relationship)
Genre/Warnings (as applicable): OMG the fluff.
Rating: U
Words: 100
Wine-dark sea.
Resourceful Odysseus.
Bright-eyed Athena.
Rosy-fingered dawn.
Swift-footed Achilles.
Golden Aphrodite.
Lovely-haired Helen.
Remus drew a line across the parchment and started a new list:
Greasy-haired git.
Silken-voiced Slytherin.
Shabbily-dressed werewolf.
Pink-haired metamorph.
Hapless herbologist.
Bushy-haired swot.
Doom-obsessed prognosticator.
Twinkly-eyed manipulator.
Emerald-eyed saviour --
He heard a snort behind his left shoulder. When he added “Tartan-clad instigator,” he was rewarded with a guffaw.
He leaned back so that his eyes met Snape’s. “Perhaps it is time for me to take a break from reading the Prophet.”
“I’ll give them this,” Severus smirked. “Minerva is up to no good.”
