(1) Discussing Terminus possibilities with [insanejournal.com profile] catrinella and [insanejournal.com profile] thermidor. Who else will I see in Chicago next August?

(2) Cedar's Snupin-rific riff on Twelfth Night. One of the better Shakespeare-to-Potter conversions I've seen, and the sly Snape in-jokes in Act IV cracked me up.

(3) Mosylu's The Dare, which LJ:gilpin25 rec'd on LJ:crack_broom. Remus/Tonks, < 3K, and the disclaimer made me giggle.

(4) I am apparently supposed to blame LJ:knitmeapony for informing corvidae9 that "in some circles of the undead, it is believed that hamsters are actually larval-stage werewolves." If de-aged!hamster!Lupin drabbles start appearing here, you now know who to go after with the silver tomato stakes.

Oh dear. I wish there was even a remote chance that I could make it to Chicago next August, but I rather doubt it. There is a veryveryvery faint possibility that I might want to (or have to!) go to OVFF (Ohio Valley Filk Fest) next year, but it's rather slender. But that's in (I think) October...

Hmm. Hamsters as larval werewolves. What an ... interesting ... idea.

And of course Remus would end up as one Severus' lab animals, all gray and brown, and would do his very best to get Severus to notice him before he was injected with peculiar drugs in the name of science....

I am seriously considering Terminus, depending on health and finances.

As for this story...it came out *before* HBP, and the Tonks and Lupin here have a believable relationship, not the angst-wallow that Rowling chose to present as Tragic Love. Nicely done, and thanks for reccing.

1) Very possibly me! I really don't want to plan that far ahead, to be honest, but if I were to do a conference, Terminus would be it.

4) *cracks up*

I am really hoping to go to Terminus as well. *crosses fingers*

I just can't get excited about going to Dallas, though. Chicago I can do--it's a 4 hour drive, after all. ;)

Not bothering with Dallas myself. Chicago - aside from it being Chicago, I've heard very good things about the group running this con. They seem to be more together than some of the other organizations.
