"Placet" - archive/comm update

I'm very fond of my ThinkPad, but its O/S doesn't tend to handle installations well, and when I tried to load Python earlier tonight (in order to take advantage of a LJ community migration tool), it basically choked. I'm not sure I would have been technically adept enough to see the process through, so it's probably just as well.

At any rate, via old-fashioned copy-and-paste, all my placet drabbles and ficlets are now archived on IJ as well as LJ, and the links on the the master timeline will remain connected to Cat's posts to the LJ comm unless/until she reposts them to IJ. The most recent story is Response and Responsibility (originally posted 27 July).

Original comment deleted 'cause it's too hot to think straightly. I will move my stuff too, and then we can either delete or just put up a gone fishin' sign at the LJ comm.

I'm thinking it might be best to leave it up at LJ and mirror it. I don't want to break existing links on other people's posts/lists, and I've a handful of non-migrating LJ friends for whom it's their only connection to fandom.

I hear you on the heat. I don't mind it as much as most folks, usually, but I damn near gave myself heatstroke during yesterday's schlep to the library, and am just not in the mood to do anything more strenuous than guzzle ginger ale and read picture books. Damned deliverables... *grumble*
