Teddy knew that his godfather meant well, but there were times he wished he could somehow explain to Harry that their feelings weren't alike just because they both happened to be orphans. He felt guilty: he was well aware that he'd had a far easier time growing up than Harry, but he also couldn't help resenting the older man for wanting him to be more desperately curious about his parents than he actually was.

He said to Victoire, "Is it so wrong, that I would rather learn more about the living?"

"In fact," Victoire replied, "I love that about you."

Interesting. I could really see this, with Harry really having the best of intentions, but being self-focused enough that he might not really *get* that Teddy could be different in this regard.

(Also, I'm glad to hear that you're okay and I hope that whatever is going on gets resolved in as positive a way as possible.)
